I Did It With A 'Pin'

Here are some lovely hanging baskets Rachel over at Smile and Wave did. Pretty freaking awesome if you ask me. And well, my lovely roommate brought home some herbs from her mom’s garden so I just couldn’t resist trying this out! 

Pros:

• REALLY simple!-All you need to do is spray paint and plant!
• You have a fantastic looking herb garden
• Your roommates will comment on how nice it is for you to do something for the house instead of just craft for yourself all the time.

Cons:

• Plants are EXPENSIVE!
• Hanging them was kind of a pain. I didn’t really measure and it was a lot harder to get the string through then I’m sure the woven basket will be.
• This is a long project if you expect to do it all in one night. It took about 3 hours from start to finish, however I did plant other things in-between which I’m sure is what caused the delay.

Total Spent:

• Plants-$30 (+dirt)
• Baskets-on hand/stole from roommate (THANKS COOP!)
• Spray paint-on hand from other projects
• String-on hand/stole from roommates (Man, having roommates is cool!)
